Eriko Asai
During her tenure as President, GE Japan achieved its market entry into Additive manufacturing, and won its first Offshore Wind and High Voltage DC (HVDC) projects in Japan. Eriko was also instrumental in reaching the financial close of Japan’s Export Credit Agency (ECA) facilitated infrastructure projects in the third countries, under the US-Japan Infrastructure Cooperation.
In addition, Eriko had been an active leader in the industry and Government, serving as the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce (ACCJ), Principal of the US-Japan Business Council, and as the member of the Cabinet Office Foreign Investment Working Group.
Eriko graduated with a Bachelor of Law and Political Science from Keio University. She has also completed Comparative International Studies at University of London. She is certified by the Board Director Training Institute of Japan (BDTI). Eriko is born in the UK and have lived in five countries. Passionate and devoted to diversity and lifting women in society.

Sam Maresh
Sam Maresh is a seasoned executive with extensive global experience in power generation, renewables, mining (critical minerals), and advanced manufacturing. He has held leadership roles at major multinational corporations, including General Electric and Rio Tinto.
Sam is widely recognized for his expertise in navigating complex regulatory, social and policy environments, developed through senior positions in both government and industry. He has successfully led significant energy and mining infrastructure projects, managing intricate operational, commercial, and regulatory challenges.
As the former president of GE Australia, Sam spearheaded the company’s energy market and hydrogen strategy. He also oversaw the global separation of GE’s healthcare, energy, and aerospace businesses across the ASEAN region.
Sam began his career in the government sector, working in various energy resources, and commerce portfolios before transitioning to senior roles in the mining and energy industry, where he spent over a decade.
He holds a Bachelor of Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and an Executive MBA.
Sam is an honorary member of the Business Council of Australia, where he chairs the Future Industries and Innovation Committee and AUKUS Pillar II Working Group. He also serves as a Board Member of the NSW Environment Protection Authority and is a member of both the CSIRO Manufacturing Advisory Group and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
In addition, Sam is a long-time mentor for the Women in STEM and Women in Renewables mentoring programs.

Mahesh Palashikar
He has been successful in leading complex high-tech industrial business operations in billion-dollar organizations. He has worked and advanced his career through a series of complex and increasingly responsible assignments in manufacturing operations, global supply chain, quality, lean six sigma, sales, projects, services, joint ventures, and business management.
He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for GE’s two publicly listed companies in India at the Mumbai National Stock Exchange, GE Power India Ltd. and GE Transmission and Distribution India Ltd.
Until recently, Mahesh was the President of General Electric for South Asia, accountable for leading GE’s presence across all businesses in South Asia.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a degree in Cost and Management Accounting from India, and a master’s degree in business administration from the USA. He is also a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified by GE in the USA.
